According to the latest data, the number of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh is 100,490

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan and Nazeli Baghdasaryan present the progress of works of the "Humanitarian Center."

According to the latest data, the number of forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh is 100,490, the number of vehicles is 21,103; 84,956 people have been registered, which is 85 percent of the people who arrived in Armenia. Males make up 41,056 and females 43,900.

Nazeli Baghdasaryan reminded that the one-time support of 100,000 AMD will start next week. As of October 1, 40,000 AMD for apartment rent and 10,000 AMD for utilities will be transferred to each person every month for a period of 6 months.

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan presented that as of 3:00 pm, around 47,322 people used state-provided accommodations. This makes up about 47 percent of displaced persons. The distribution by regions is as follows: Aragatsotn region: 3,848 people, Lori region: 2,435 people, Kotayk region: 11,368 people, Shirak region: 2,231 people, Syunik region: 4,175 people, Vayots Dzor region: 1,923 people, and Tavush region: 2,322 people.

Once again, it was emphasized that any person forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh, in case of any need, can first apply to the local authorities or the regional administration, and an urgent solution will be given to the problem in a short period of time.

Gnel Sanosyan noted that displaced persons who did not have their own vehicles were transported to Armenia by 90 buses, and if necessary, the buses will continue to leave for Nagorno Karabakh in order to transport displaced persons to Armenia.
