Resolution

FIRST. The Senate of the Republic respectfully urges the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the scope of its powers, to continue contributing to the progressive development and respect for international law through foreign policy deployed at the multilateral level.

SECOND. The Senate of the Republic respectfully urges the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the scope of its powers, to promote the formal pronouncement by the United Mexican States of recognition of the Armenian genocide that occurred between 1915 and 1916.

THIRD. The Senate of the Republic recognizes the Armenian genocide that occurred between 1915 and 1916, and pronounces itself in favor of respect for human rights, without any discrimination based on race, sex, language or religion.

Resolutivo Aprobado

PRIMERO. El Senado de la República exhorta respetuosamente a la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores a que, en el ámbito de sus atribuciones, continúe coadyuvando al desarrollo progresivo y respeto del derecho internacional a través de la política exterior desplegada a nivel multilateral.

SEGUNDO. El Senado de la República exhorta respetuosamente a la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores a que, en el ámbito de sus atribuciones, impulse el pronunciamiento formal por parte de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos del reconocimiento del genocidio armenio ocurrido entre los años 1915 y 1916.

TERCERO. El Senado de la República reconoce el genocidio armenio ocurrido entre los años 1915 y 1916, y se pronuncia a favor del respeto de los derechos humanos, sin discriminación alguna por motivos de raza, sexo, idioma o religión.
